PFSchools · Festac Town, Lagos

Where your work at PFSchools gets recorded, recognized, and made fair.

One place to take your certification courses, track your professional development, and see exactly how you're evaluated — clearly, consistently, and on your terms.

Who this is for

Teachers

Get certified, and keep a record you can point to

Take short courses like safeguarding and professional practice, pass a quiz, and earn a real certificate. Your CPD hours log themselves as you go, so appraisal time never starts from a blank page.

HODs

See your department clearly, without carrying the whole judgment alone

View every completed evaluation for your department and add the context only you would know. An independent reviewer scores the observation, so you're never grading your own team.

Reviewers

Score consistently, with the same rubric every time

Run classroom observations against clear, criteria-based rubrics, and pull reports across any teacher, department, or term the moment you need them.

Leadership

Records that hold up when someone asks to see them

Training, certification, and evaluation history — organized, exportable, and ready whenever the school needs to show its work.

How it works

1

Log in with your staff account

The same account you already use across PFSchools' other staff tools.

2

Find your courses and your standing

One dashboard for active courses, CPD hours, and your evaluation history, at a glance.

3

Build a record that speaks for itself

Certificates, training hours, and fair, criteria-based evaluations, all in one place, over time.

Your progress, recognized

"Growth against your own record, never a ranking against anyone else's."

Finish a course, log a CPD session, or keep a streak of on-time submissions, and the portal notices. Milestones like "Certified in three subjects" or a steady CPD streak show up on your own profile — small, honest markers of consistency, not a leaderboard.

This applies to your courses and CPD only. Evaluation stays exactly as described above: private, growth-framed, and compared only against your own history over time — never turned into a competition, and never ranked against a colleague.

Terms you'll see across the portal

A few words the portal uses often, in plain terms.

Scheme of work

The term's roadmap

The topic-by-topic breakdown for the whole term, usually set at the subject level. Everything else — lesson plans, pacing, coverage checks — is measured against this.

Lesson plan

The format you plan a lesson in

The structure a lesson is built around — topic, objectives, prior knowledge, instructional materials, method, evaluation. The skeleton, before it's filled in.

Lesson note

That format, filled in for a real lesson

The actual written content for a specific day's lesson, following your lesson plan's structure. This is what an observation compares against what was actually delivered.

Instructional materials

What learners see and use in the room

Charts, models, diagrams, real objects, multimedia — the aids you bring into the lesson itself to support understanding.

Reference materials

What you consult to prepare

Textbooks, curriculum guides, and verified resources you draw on while planning — not shown to learners directly, but what informs what you teach.

Why we built this

"A record kept honestly is worth more than a memory kept fondly."

Most schools run on memory and goodwill — a mental note of who did the safeguarding training, a vague sense of how last term's observations went. That works, until it doesn't: until an appraisal needs evidence, or a review asks a question no one wrote down the answer to.

This portal exists so PFSchools never has to reconstruct its own history from memory. Every course completed, every CPD hour logged, every observation scored, is recorded as it happens — plainly, consistently, and visible to the person it's about.
